Suzanne has 15 Radiation treatments to go from the original 35. Today, her reaction to the treatments has been surprisingly minimal. She continues to amaze her doctors with her attitude, stamina, and lack of physical issues. They have also continued to describe a successful reduction in the size of the tumor, which also is better than they expected.

The only hiccup in the treatment plan is her blood count. Every Monday she has an extensive bloodwork review. Today, her chemotherapy doctor expressed his concern about the blood count numbers but decided to continue with her planned treatment. The reason for continuing was that 5 chemotherapy treatments were the success threshold that her overall plan was reliant upon. Any additional chemotherapy treatments (there are 2 more scheduled ) were of benefit to the plan but her body’s health trumps those treatments. We won’t know till after next Monday’s blood draw if Chemotherapy continues with any additional treatments.

Although we anticipated our daily routines changing as her reaction to treatments progressed, it has not yet materialized. We are thankful for all the prayer warriors out there that have truly made a difference in our lives.
