Christmas Card 2021
This year has brought so many challenges to our family, it’s hard to imagine. With Suzanne’s surgery in February that changed her eating and speaking ability for the rest of her life, to the clinical trial that she is in that hopefully will keep her cancer from returning, the death of my brother whom I will miss dearly, family turmoil and the many challenges that the pandemic has thrust upon us all, a difficult year is an understatement.
But the JOY that Christmas brings into our household is uplifting. Decorations around the house both inside and out are plentiful as ever; Plans to see friends & family throughout the season bring a sense of normalcy to our lives; and the life we continue to share with the hope and dreams of many more to come overwhelms us.
During this Christmas season, we both wish that you and all your loved ones also feel the hope that this season brings and that you will have a year of renewed JOY that we both share here.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a JOYOUS NEW YEAR
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:8-20

You both look great! I love your message of JOY in this year that has been marked with much upheaval.
And I can indeed vouch for beautiful decorations on the outside. I like your nutcrackers at your front porch!
Merry Christmas and May 2022 be filled with good health! I appreciate your HOPE for the future and FAITH in our creator!
Dear John and Suzanne,
Sending warm wishes for the holidays and wishing you a healthy, peaceful, safe, and joyful New Year!
Love,
Paula
