Everything is set for Suzanne to have her Chemotherapy Port put in early on Tuesday Morning. It has all been pre-paid so there shouldn’t be any drama with the financial department like we had the other day. Since it is scheduled very early in the morning, we plan on going up the night before so we don’t have to deal with delays in traffic.

We got another call this morning that someone somewhere has ordered a hearing test to be completed before Radiation & Chemo treatment begins. Lucky for us they had a late Monday afternoon time slot so we could work it in with the same trip as her port placement.

Also on Tuesday, I hope to finally put all this financial nightmare to rest. We have worked out the details and dollars so that I can Pre-pay her Chemo & Radiation treatments for the whole 7 weeks. This will allow all the medical teams to schedule everything without the computers flagging it for payment. From this point forward, Rush still considers us a pre-pay cash customer and is willing to allow an ‘on account’ basis for future charges. Medi-Share is working with me to hopefully get me reimbursed relatively soon for this huge payment. A special shout out to the Fredrick Community Bank for understanding my situation and helping me find a solution in this mind-boggling event.

We hope to be home by mid-afternoon on Tuesday which will give us the rest of the week before the big event starts on the 31st.

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

  1. Just cannot imagine what all you’re having to go thru, especially on the financial end!! You are SO organized John & have everything worked out to make sure Suzanne won’t have any “hiccups” & she can get in & have everything work out smoothly & get this Chemo/radiation over with so you can go on trips …like TX, FL and Canada??
We pray daily for you to stay strong in your faith. I like your updates ending w/Scripture; what a testimony! Thanks for sharing Suzanne & John! ❤️E&B
